As a seasoned Director of Talent Acquisition, I’ve navigated the ever-evolving landscape of recruitment for over two decades. My mission? To unearth exceptional talent and cultivate thriving teams.

From Microsoft to Start-Up Realms: My journey began at Microsoft, where I honed my skills from the ground up. As an individual contributor, I scouted hidden gems, matching their brilliance with the right roles. Over the years, I ascended the ranks, leading teams and shaping strategies.

Domestic Ventures: My canvas expanded beyond Corp HQ as I helped to orchestrate new office launches in Reston, VA and Atlanta, GA, weaving the fabric of Microsoft’s presence. At the same time, I played a critical role in managing a team of recruiters that were focused on the Department of Defense Contract (FKA: JEDI) where we had to creatively strategize how to hire TS/SCI professionals in a highly secured and confidential way.

Start-Up Magic: Then came the pivot. A smaller stage, yet no less impactful. In a nimble start-up, I led a dynamic team—3 managers with an expanded team of 21 individual contributors—across diverse domains. From Design & Research to Hardware, from IT/Security to Technical Strategy, we wove innovation into our DNA. Bringing in diverse and innovative talent was the key building block of the company and it was here that I led a cross-functional deliverable to increase diverse representation at the company.

As a savvy sourcer, I understand what it takes to navigate social networks to find hidden gems all while mastering the art of finding diamonds in the digital rough. I wield ATSs and HR databases orchestrating data harmonies that lead to exceptional hires. My goals on the Horizon

Contribute to add to my professional portfolio as the Director of Recruiting, where I can contribute to bringing in world-class talent and build/contribute to a high performing team where we all understand the opportunity that each hire we make, is a luminary and a vital part of the company. I want to be able to build strategies to attract and select the best talent in whatever industry my team and I are supporting. I want to be a strategic navigator, where I steer the ship through talent tides, expanding on understanding business needs and demands all while leveraging data and insights to bring new focus and energy to business initiatives. Lastly, I want to be a part of a company where I can continue to be an empathy-driven leader where the opportunity to ask questions in an effort to unlock potential is welcomed and where I can continue to show how I believe in others and lead with the heart.
