As a seasoned Director of Talent Acquisition, I’ve navigated the ever-evolving landscape of recruitment for over two decades. My mission? To unearth exceptional talent and cultivate thriving teams.
From Microsoft to Start-Up Realms: My journey began at Microsoft, where I honed my skills from the ground up. As an individual contributor, I scouted hidden gems, matching their brilliance with the right roles. Over the years, I ascended the ranks, leading teams and shaping strategies.
Domestic Ventures: My canvas expanded beyond Corp HQ as I helped to orchestrate new office launches in Reston, VA and Atlanta, GA, weaving the fabric of Microsoft’s presence. At the same time, I played a critical role in managing a team of recruiters that were focused on the Department of Defense Contract (FKA: JEDI) where we had to creatively strategize how to hire TS/SCI professionals in a highly secured and confidential way.
Start-Up Magic: Then came the pivot. A smaller stage, yet no less impactful. In a nimble start-up, I led a dynamic team—3 managers with an expanded team of 21 individual contributors—across diverse domains. From Design & Research to Hardware, from IT/Security to Technical Strategy, we wove innovation into our DNA. Bringing in diverse and innovative talent was the key building block of the company and it was here that I led a cross-functional deliverable to increase diverse representation at the company.

I am extremely strong at employer branding, crafting narratives that resonate to attract top-tier candidates. As a savvy sourcer, I understand what it takes to navigate social networks to find hidden gems all while mastering the art of finding diamonds in the digital rough. I wield ATSs and HR databases orchestrating data harmonies that lead to exceptional hires. I like to consider myself a team whisperer where I understand that managing teams isn't just about spreadsheets. it's about nurturing growth, fostering camaraderie, and celebrating wins.
